Orgainzations dealing with lawful gambling know that the industry is highly regulated. Lawful gambling organizations have multiple requirements to stay in compliance whether it is with the Gambling Control Board, Minnesota Revenue or the Internal Revenue Service.
According to Minnsota Statutes, once a lawful gamlbing oganization gross receipts reach $750,000.00, they are required to have an annual audit completed by a Certified Public Accountant. Currently, our firm completes over 30 of these audits throughout the year. Our fees are based off the size of the lawful gambling organization.
If your lawful gambling organization is finding that it needs an audit, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss your organization and prepare a formal bid. If that bid is acceptable to you, the next step would be to send out an engagement packet. Keep in mind, the first year audits will require more information. If your organization is not from the Alexandria area, we do have capabilities to use our portal system to get information electronically without concern of it not being secure. Your organization would need to make the trip to our office to drop off/pick-up the number of pull-tab and tip board games that we are required to audit based off of Minnsota statutes.
